My Bucket List for 2012
This year I have decided to follow and fulfill as many dreams as possible. After all, this is 2012.. "the so called year where the world ends". For my first blog this 2012, I will create my bucket list. To make sure that I fulfill all of them, I will have you readers as my witness.=) I will update my blog for every dreams fulfilled and tell you guys about it. Hopefully, before this year ends, I will be able to get them done. *cross fingers* This bucket list was posted way back in January but I forgot to make it public until now. =)
1. To travel for pleasure to places that I haven't been before. This does not include business trips such as Hong Kong and South Korea.
2. To try at least 12 restaurants which I haven't eaten before. (this will help me not to eat in the same restaurants over and over again.)
3. To learn something new (e.g. scuba diving, surfing, a new language, cook, fly a plane haha)
4. To go camping inside a tent ( I always want to do that ever since I was little and to sleep under the stars..=) )
5. Go on a cruise anywhere..=)
6. Do something adventurous and scary (skydive and rock climbing! )
7. Make a time capsule which I will be reading 10 years from now=)
8. To finish a book. In this time and technology, I miss the way I used to love reading. I get so busy in my job and on the internet, that I forgot about reading..The last time that I had ever finish a book was about 5 years ago, so I want to make sure that this year, I will be able to fulfill it. Sounds so simple, but it's really hard nowadays and I don't know why..=)
That's about it! I guess making a bucket list helps me realize all my wants and dreams. It helps me a lot by giving me a push forward in making sure that I will be doing all of these stuff. =) I hope that I can fulfill everything on my list before 2012 ends!=)

Love in Masseto
It had been a very long while since I last posted. I have been very busy with my work, relationship, friends and family that I could not find the time to write until now. This blog should have been posted last February 2011, specifically on Valentines Day..but what the hell..I'll just post it anyway to give you guys a thumbs up on my Valentine's experience at Masseto.
Dominic and I have been planning on spending Valentine's 2011 at a fancy restaurant for months now. Last Valentine's, he surprised me with a Valentine's dinner and cruise date along Manila Bay. I find it very romantic and cheesy but I loved every bit of cheesiness in it. This year, our mind was set in dining somewhere hidden and not known to many which is why we chose Masseto. Masseto is located at Valero St. Salcedo Village, Makati. Believe me when I say hidden because it took us an hour and a half just to find the place! All you will see is a crimson letter M sealed on the ground floor of the building. We almost got into a fight because of all the directions we made wrong. When we got there, I find the ambiance romantic and expensive which made us anxious. The waiter courteously brought us to our reserved seats. When she handed out the menu, Dominic and I were startled to find out that the menu has changed. This time, it was a Valentine's set full course meal which drove our dinner over his budget! He spend around 4k++ inclusive of tax and service charge. You see, our plan is to dine their but have our dessert at Chocolate Fire but because of the full course meal we have know choice but to burn his pocket here, we just hope that it's worth every penny.
So here it goes..
For starters, the waiter served us with bread and butter while waiting for the appetizers. The bread was good but nothing out of the ordinary.
Then momentarily, our appetizers were served. For Dominic, he had mixed greens, cambozola, pears and pistachios. He loved it. I had a bit of those and I also loved it! Especially the cheese. yummy!=)

For me, I had the goat cheese ravioli with mushroom. It was also good but I love his appetizer better=)
Before the main course was served, the waiter served us with a complimentary strawberry sorbet. The only thing that's wrong here is that it was too small..=( It would have been delicious!
Next came our main course, Dominic had the chicken with potato puree. The chicken was cooked to perfection. He loved it. For me, it was okay, again, nothing special.
For my main course I had the crispy duck leg with roasted potatoes. This for me was the best ever! I love every bit of it! This made it all worth it!=) Dominic was so jealous!hahaha >;) but of course I had to give him some because after all he was the one who's paying. lol=)
And for the grand finale, Dominic chose the chocolate hazelnut tart while I chose the strawberry pavlova. The desserts were just lovely!=)I can say that these made both of our dining experience uber special..=)

Overall, I will rate our valentines experience at Masseto a 4 out of 5 stars. The dining experience was great, the ambiance was nice and the servers were very attentive. I would definitely recommend it for a great fancy couples date.=)

Goodbye, I'm sorry and I love you bumbum and my 1000 pesos..=.(
Today, was one of the saddest chapter of my life..I felt betrayed..I felt cheated..
Bumbum, was the very first dog I have ever owned, my mom did not want him in our house so she decided to let my aunt take care of it, and now he's gone. And guess what? He had died for almost 8 months now..and I didn't know about it. No one told me about it. My mom hide it from me, my family hide it from me..So how did I came to find out about it? While my family and I were walking at High Street, I saw this cute doggy who looks exactly like bumbum, I told my sister that I miss bumbum and she accidentally blurted out : "Did you know that bumbum already died?" My heart stopped. I asked her "when?" and she told me that it happened a long time ago..around april. I asked my mom if she knows about this. She nodded. My heart died. Hot tears started to fill my eyes. At that point, I did not care if the public saw me crying. My heart aches so bad that I want numbness to crawl over me. I walked out on them and went straight to my car. I drove home. I felt betrayed. No one told me about it, I don't really care if the reason is to protect me from an emotional breakdown, because as an owner, I have the right to know about it. Until now, my heart is aching, I miss bumbum. If he is listening right now, I just want to say that I'm sorry that I let them take you away from me. I am sorry that I was not there when you are growing up. I am sorry for just not being there especially when your life was taken away. I am sorry for not being there in your burial. I am sorry. I miss you so bad and I love you. I know its too late, but I want to say thank you for the company. I know that you are in a better place now..It just hurts that I did not do anything about it...I'm sorry.

Pig Out Session!
Dominic and I have been dying to try Pig Out for months now and finally had the time to go there. Pig Out is located at Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Nuvali itself is a nice place to relax and chill with friends, loved ones and your family. The place also promotes fun activities like biking, boat ride and fish feeding and of course, food tripping. There are also bazaars held in Nuvali wherein they sell clothes, accessories and other cool stuff at a cheaper price. The place is worth visiting. Well going back to PIG OUT, I can say that the wait is really worth it. Although Pig Out markets most to groups of people since the tables there are for 5-10 seating, we had the chance to avail a table without sharing it with anyone else. That's good!=) Here is what we ordered.
For starters we had a Barrio Salad. Which is mainly mangoes with eggplant, tomatoes, bagoong and onions.
For me, when you eat it alone, the taste is too sour. But when you eat it together with rice, it is great. Picture of that will be posted later.
Next, we had Seoul Spice Fried Rice. This was to die for!=) The fried rice is mixed with
Korean spices, beef strips, been sprouts, seaweed, spinach and topped with liver sheets. These toppings might sound weird but the taste is superb!=) A must try! The price: P285

Together with the fried rice, we had Pig Out's famous Crispy Pata. You can say that it is the crowd's favorite. The crispy pata is cook to perfection! Crispiness rating is 10 out of 10! Very crispy! While the inner part was soft and tender=) Also a must try! The price: Solo: P325 (good for 1-3 persons) Sharing: P615
For our drinks, Dominic had White Grape Spritzer (shown here in the picture at the upperleft most part). According to him, it taste like Welch which is true. I had what they called Babe's favorite. It is a blend of apple, orange and grapes with honey. It is refeshing. (shown here in the picture at the lower right part). Price: P125 for each drink.
All in all, I will give our experience here at Pig Out a generous 4 out of 5 stars. The food was great, the service was pleasing enough, the ambiance was relaxing and the price was just right. Definitely giving everyone a shout out to try it.=)
